CGTA’s network, board and staff recognize the need to incorporate conversations around diversity, equity, justice, and inclusion in our region. 

As a network and community we acknowledge the past and continued systematic oppression of the Native Tribes, communities of color, and other marginalized groups in the Columbia River Gorge region including within the development of cultural and natural assets for visitor purposes. 

We recognize that not all people feel welcome at times throughout  our region. 

We are committed to understanding the negative impacts within our communities and taking  action to reduce barriers to inclusion and welcomability.
